  • stress from changes in the environment
  • past trauma or emotional upset

Physical

This list is not exhaustive, so please get in touch if you’re not sure whether your animal can benefit from this approach.

My Philosophy

My work with animals goes beyond the physical. When considering an animal’s health and wellbeing, particularly when they experience illness or behavioural issues, I look beneath the surface to explore the deeper causes.

This involves perceiving the animal through a holistic and spiritual lens, drawing on the 12 Universal Laws. Concepts such as interconnectedness, the nature of energy, like attracting like, and the outer world reflecting our inner world can be applied to any living being or situation. They invite us to consider that there may be more to our experiences than meets the eye.

From this perspective, we see that we are more than physical beings, and that our experiences offer opportunities for growth and self-discovery. When we view our beloved animals this way, we open ourselves to a different possibility: what we perceive as a problem with an animal may be part of how they are helping us, by bringing something to our attention that we might otherwise overlook.

Your Animal’s Purpose With You

Our precious animal companions have a collective purpose to bring unconditional love into this world – and they do it so well! Many animals have an additional purpose with their chosen human(s) to help them with their life purpose. What this might look like:

  • helping with learning a life lesson
  • mirroring health problems
  • helping us to love and accept ourselves as we are
  • showing us to take better care of ourselves
  • offering indirect guidance
  • helping us to heal our own traumas
  • offering companionship and emotional support.

Sometimes, when a beloved animal is struggling with their health or behaviour, they may also be helping a person in the household with their own life purpose, and exploring this connection can reveal another layer to what is happening.

When you discover how your beloved companion is helping you with your life purpose, this can bring you even closer together, as it did with Snowflake and me. I’m currently developing a course to help with just that. You can register your interest here.
